Order Shipping and Delivery

Please note that all production and shipping turnaround times are estimates. While CustomBeautyBox will use reasonable efforts to prevent delay of production and delivery schedules, in no case shall CustomBeautyBox be liable for any consequential or damages resulting from any delay in shipment or delivery. CustomBeautyBox packages all products to withstand the potentially harsh handling from shipping internationally.

Production costs are subject to change based on changes in material, labor, and other cost considerations, which may be amended to take effect immediately. Shipping and delivery for orders are fulfilled by shipping couriers and freight companies in the assignment by CustomBeautyBox and not carried out directly by CustomBeautyBox.

CustomBeautyBox assumes no monetary liability to errors, delays, or damage to customer products as a result of shipping; as damages are solely the responsibility of the courier or freight company fulfilling the delivery. In the event that the customer receives damaged products, CustomBeautyBox will assist the customer in opening an investigation to claim damages and compensation from the respective shipping company and initiate a resolution. Unexpected equipment failure, malfunction, and or technical problems may delay the printing process.

In case of delay caused by technical difficulty, rush charges/fees will be refunded or waived where applicable. However, technical difficulty will not be the grounds for order cancellation. Shipping rates for high quantity products depend on the customer’s access to a shipping dock and forklift, otherwise, additional charges may apply. The customer is responsible for all shipping/delivery charges, custom clearance fees, duties, and taxes for the initial order and subsequent orders. Unless DDP shipping terms are confirmed between customers and CustomBeautyBox

Shipping costs are based on estimated conditions, packing size, weight, and current rates and are subject to amendment to meet potential changes in such costs between the date of quotation and the date of execution. Additional charges may apply for customs clearance, custom exams, and extra fees during transportation. The customer is responsible for providing any requested information during the shipping and customs clearance process. Failure to provide necessary information may result in delays, warehousing, or storage fees. CustomBeautyBox disclaims all liability for any fees, charges, or penalties associated with customer’s non-compliance to shipping and customs clearance procedure.

Returns and Refunds

With all purchases, CustomBeautyBox includes a limited warranty, return, or replacement options. If we find an issue with quality or production on our end, we will happily replace or discount the product sold. Since each order is unique to the customer and has no re-sale value; All Sales Are Final. No refunds or credits. The customer must notify CustomBeautyBox within 5 business days of order acceptance to notify any defects discovered in the ordered product failing, in which the customer is deemed satisfied with the product. Where a replacement is appropriate, the customer must first return 100% of the received product within 15 days (on their own expense) from the time when the ordered product delivery was taken. CustomBeautybox is not responsible for shipping charges associated with the product(s) return or exchange, or shipping charges that come with re-ordering product(s).

Defective Products and Liability

CustomBeautyBox defines defective products as a structure or printing error(s) from manufacturing, improper construction, cut, or finish. Due to the nature of paperboard, cracking can occur when creased in printed areas as a result of over-expansion in paperboard material. Minor cracking in the creased areas for non-laminated cardstock is normal and not classified as defective. Cracking, bends, or scratches produced as a result of mishandling or shipping are not considered to be defective. CustomBeautyBox is responsible for all manufacturing errors and will re-produce, re-print, or provide a refund for damages under the discretion of CustomBeautyBox management. Customers are encouraged to report defective products immediately upon receiving their orders.

Customer Submitted Artwork or Graphics

All artwork or designs and images must be provided in CMYK format. CustomBeautyBox is not responsible for any color shift that occurs in conversions from RGB to CMYK color modes. All artwork, designs, and images must be provided in a minimum of 300 DPI at 1:1 scale and CMYK color mode. CustomBeautyBox is not responsible for images printed as fuzzy, distorted, or pixilated due to the customer provided artwork.

If your artwork files do not meet our specifications, CustomBeautyBox is not responsible for any printing errors that can arise as a result. Please follow this guide carefully to prepare and send us your artwork files.

Customer Provided Content

For certain product and service offerings, you may elect to electronically upload or otherwise submit data, text, photographs, graphics, messages, or other materials (collectively, “Customer Content”) to CustomBeautyBox for inclusion in print and packaging products. You understand and agree that you (and any other person from whom it may have originated) are solely responsible for all Customer Content.

When you upload, or otherwise provide customer content to CustomBeautyBox, you warrant and confirm that you either own the copyright to or have permission to copy the documents, text, graphics, photography, etc. that you submit for inclusion in the print process, and you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold CustomBeautyBox and its officers, directors, employees, shareholders agent and affiliates, harmless from any suit, demand, or claim arising out of any breach of this warranty and agree to pay any judgment or reasonable settlement offer resulting from any such suit, demand or claim, and you pay any attorney’s fees incurred by CustomBeautyBox in defending against such suit, demand or claim.

You agree that you will not send, upload, post, or otherwise transmit to CustomBeautyBox any customer content that contains material that: (I) is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, and/or obscene; (II) which invades another person’s privacy; (III) which would further the commission or concealment of a crime; (IV) advocates or urges treason, insurrection, sedition, or forcible resistance to any law of the United States; (V) is not lawfully yours to transmit; (VI) is the subject of or which infringes upon, any patent, trademark, trade name, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity, moral right, or other intellectual property rights of another person or entity; (VII) contains software viruses, trojans, malware, or other harmful or malicious computer code, or that in any other way would interfere with or disrupt the services and/or production of CustomBeautyBox and/or any servers or networks connected to or used in connection with the delivery of such service and production.

Color Proofing and Matching

CustomBeautyBox is not liable for color matching or ink density on screen proofs approved by the customers. Screen proofs will predict design layout, text accuracy, image proportion, and placement, but not color or density. While CustomBeautyBox will try its best to match the gradient density of each color, CustomBeautyBox is not liable for the final appearance of a color. Though a sampling procedure could be made before bulk production.

Over or Underrun

Although we endeavor to ship the quantity ordered, CustomBeautyBox reserves the right to ship within 5% over or under the requested quantity. If a minimum quantity is a necessity we recommend that you adjust the total quantity ordered to account for the possibility of an underrun.

Order Approval and Proofing

CustomBeautyBox has and assumes no obligation to proof or otherwise review the content or layout of your order. Orders are printed in their “as submitted” form and the customer is fully responsible for final proof and layout verification and approval prior to submission to the print process. Once you submit your files to the print and packaging process you are agreeing that you are fully satisfied with the document layout and content and you accept responsibility for any errors therein. CustomBeautyBox recommends custom production-grade prototypes and PMS colors are used in all stringent requirement-sensitive projects to ensure color accuracy, finish, and stock properties. If the option to receive a custom prototype prior to placing a production order is forfeited for any reason, the customer hereby accepts the color differences and other variances that may occur during a production order from only reviewing artwork proof(s) in digital form.

Before you confirm the production-ready proofs provided by CustomBeautyBox, your job will not be processed or deemed production-ready until you have approved the proof(s) in writing. All estimated turnaround time is started upon final confirmation of proof(s).

Payments

All prices and dollar amounts on this website are in United States dollars unless otherwise specified. CustomBeautyBox accepts the following payment methods:  Wire Transfer, Credit Cards, West Union, and Alibaba Trade Assurance. Time to clear payments may vary for different payment methods. The production process will not be started and products will not be shipped until all due payments have cleared. Overdue payments or payments made past a specified due date may be subject to interest.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall CustomBeautyBox or its licensors, suppliers, vendors, officers, directors, employees, or agents, be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages of any kind. They are not liable for any damages whatsoever resulting from loss of use, data, or profits, whether or not CustomBeautyBox has been advised of the possibility of damages arising out of or in connection with the use or performance of the site or the failure to provide services that you order from CustomBeautyBox or its affiliates, including without limitation, damages arising from the mistake, omission, virus, delay, or interruption of service. In no event shall CustomBeautyBox be liable or responsible for any damages or consequences arising from or related to your inappropriate or unauthorized use of the website or its content.

All purchases made through CustomBeautyBox are subject only to any applicable warranties (if any) of their respective manufacturers, suppliers and/or distributors. To the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, we hereby disclaim all warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied, including any implied warranties with respect to the products and services listed or purchased on the CustomBeautyBox site or through CustomBeautyBox in any means. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, we hereby expressly disclaim all liability for product defect or failure, claims that are due to normal wear, product misuse, abuse, product modification, improper product selection, non-compliance with any codes or certifications, or misappropriation. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from the company or through the sites, materials, products, and services will create any warranty not expressly made herein.

Use of Customer Packaging Images

Products that CustomBeautyBox manufactures may be photographed and used on CustomBeautyBox website and marketing channels for marketing purposes. If a customer wishes to opt-out, please send us an email to [email protected]

Contact Information and Shipping Address Changes

You are responsible for updating and advising CustomBeautyBox of any change of name, e-mail, phone number, and shipping address that is different from the invoice and/or your order, CustomBeautyBox shall have no liability for any, errors, losses or damages of any kind or nature, resulting from your failure to update your account and shipping information. Changes of contact information and shipping address during the production process may be subject to extra charges.
